"Home is what you make it."
Your home plays a crucial role in how you feel, your health,
and especially how you present yourself to the world.
It should be a sanctuary—a place that comforts, inspires, and amazes you, especially after a long day.

That's where I come in.

I’m Leana, a qualified integrative interior designer and stylist with over nine years of experience. I opened Leana Lagom Interiors out of 2021, a boutique design studio in Melbourne, servicing clients locally and worldwide within residential and commercial environments.
Inspired by the Swedish philosophy of Lagom, which means "not too little, not too much," my approach is all about finding that feel-good balance. My work goes beyond aesthetics; I believe interior design is a transformative tool that can bring
meaningful change to your life when you curate your
story in a way that words cannot articulate.
I have helped clients improve their quality of sleep, become house proud, organise their family storage, host elaborate dinner parties, reinvent themselves, optimize their best lifestyle and foster positive habits aswell as create memorable experiences that last a lifetime.

Your dream Home is one life changing decision away.
When you're ready to make that call, I'll meet you there.

Projects
For this bedroom, the design began with the velvet botanical bedding, which instantly set the tone for a rich, moody, and tactile retreat. To complement its lush palette, I repainted the walls in a deep forest green, wrapping the space in a cocooning atmosphere that enhances both rest and romance.
The original ceiling lights weren’t working with the desired look, so I rewired the pendants into wall-mounted fittings. This not only freed up space on the bedside tables but also created a dramatic vertical glow — warm golden light washing over the walls, textured with shadows.
Luxury was introduced through a play of colour and touch: the sculptural boucle headboard adds softness and contrast against the green walls, while accents of burgundy, brass, and layered prints bring depth and indulgence. Every element was chosen to balance function with atmosphere, transforming what was once a flat and ordinary bedroom into a boutique hotel experience right at home.
